Welcome to ConsoleCare. By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. General Terms

  • These terms apply to all purchases and repair services offered by ConsoleCare.
  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental consent.
  • ConsoleCare reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

2. Repairs & Services

  • We specialize in PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and controller repairs.
  • All repairs are conducted using high-quality parts.
  • If a console is deemed unrepairable, we will offer a partial refund or the option to recycle the device.
  • Customers must back up their data before sending in their console, as we are not responsible for data loss.

3. Warranty

  • All repairs come with a 6-month warranty, covering the repaired component only.
  • The warranty does not cover:
    • New issues unrelated to the repair
    • Physical damage, liquid damage, or tampering
    • Software issues
  • If a fault reoccurs within the warranty period, we will attempt a free re-repair or offer an alternative solution.
  • Repairs beyond the 6-month warranty will be offered at a discounted rate. If the same fault returns outside the warranty, customers can request a diagnostic check at a reduced cost.

4. Returns & Refunds

  • Repair Services: Once a repair is completed, it cannot be refunded unless the issue persists and is covered under warranty.
  • Physical Products (Replacement Parts, Tools, etc.):
    • Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery.
    • Items must be unused and in original packaging.
    • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is faulty.

5. Shipping & Handling

  • We offer Royal Mail Collection & Return for repairs.
  • Customers are responsible for securely packaging their console before shipping.
  • ConsoleCare is not liable for damage caused by courier mishandling.
  • If a package is lost in transit when sent by ConsoleCare, we will replace the item.
  • Repair turnaround time is typically 2-3 business days after receiving the device. Subject to parts availability/workload.

6. Payments & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in GBP (£).
  • We accept payments via PayPal, Credit/Debit card.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • Any unpaid repairs will not be returned until payment is settled.

7. Cancellations

  • Repair Orders: Can only be canceled before the console has been shipped. Once the repair process has started, cancellations are not possible.
  • Product Orders: Can only be canceled before dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, the return policy applies.

8. Prepaid Shipping Labels & Customer Responsibility

  • Customers using a prepaid shipping label must ensure the console is securely packaged.
  • ConsoleCare is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging.
  • If a package is lost in transit, we will assist with the courier claim process but are not liable for compensation.

9. Business Orders & Bulk Repairs

  • Bulk repair services are available for businesses, gaming lounges, and educational institutions.
  • Business customers must provide a repair request list before shipping items.
  • Payment for bulk orders is required upfront or via an approved business invoice.

10. Custom Consoles & Modifications Disclaimer

  • We do not guarantee repairs on heavily modified or liquid-damaged consoles.
  • ConsoleCare is not responsible for custom shells, skins, or decals that may be affected during disassembly.

11. Software Repairs & Data Disclaimer

  • ConsoleCare does not offer software modifications, jailbreaks, or account recovery services.
  • Customers are advised to back up their saved data before sending a console (where possible). We are not responsible for data loss.

12. Liability & Disclaimers

  • ConsoleCare is not responsible for pre-existing issues that were not repaired.
  • We are not liable for lost saved data during repairs.
  • Repairs conducted by third parties after our service void the ConsoleCare warranty.

13. Privacy Policy

  • Customer details are kept secure and confidential.
  • We do not store credit card details or share personal information with third parties.
